|Group leader||Jane White|
|Meets||Second and fourth Fridays, 10am|
We are a very friendly group of men and women who enjoy walking in the beautiful countryside within a 10-mile radius of Dorking.
The walks are between four and five miles in length and take 2-2½ hours.
There is usually an optional pub lunch near by after our walks.
Planned walks October-December 2018
|12 October||This will be a walk from Holmwood up to Coldharbour, one we haven’t done for several years. Four miles long. Parking is on the road by Holmwood Station – just over the bridge is best.|
|26 October||Another try for Pat to take this walk, the previous two attempts this year having to be postponed due to the weather. It’s her walk on Netley Heath, with parking in the Green Dene/Sheepleas car park. To get there go straight along the Ranmore Common Road to the end, turn left into Green Dene, pass Honeysuckle Bottom on your left, and a little further on you will see the car park on your right.|
|9 November||Jane will take her Walliswood and Oakwood Hill walk, four miles long. Parking is in the car park opposite the Scarlett Arms at Walliswood.|
|23 November||Jan will take a walk for us around Westcott. Parking is in the Prince of Wales car park in Westcott.|
|14 December||This will be a walk from Bocketts Farm of 4½ miles, with parking at Bocketts Farm itself. Turn left off the roundabout at the top of Young Street and go straight to the end into the car park.|
|28 December||Maggie will take us on a walk from Brockham, so please park by Brockham Green. About four miles long.|
