Love popular music? Want to play along? Why not join us ? We meet at St Joseph’s Church hall, Dorking, on Friday morning each week. Ukuleles are one of the easiest instruments to learn, and they’re fun! We’re an enthusiastic group, and most of us joined as beginners. We play and sing a variety of songs – from old prewar standards through to Elvis, the Beatles and more. Beginners very welcome – we’ll help you with one to one sessions. Come along and try it out. Bring your favourite songs. You can’t help but smile when you play the ukulele!
But that’s not all – if you play another instrument – percussion, keyboards, wind, strings – why not try playing along with us? We’re not ukulele puritans – the more the merrier!
As well as our weekly practice sessions, we have a monthly pub evening and occasionally entertain at care homes and Dorking Hospital
