Tickets are now available for two exclusive U3A events taking place in London in the new year. On Monday 2 January at the new Crick Institute in St Pancras two Crick scientists will trace the history of cancer research and explore the most exciting avenues for future progress in an afternoon session entitled Cancer – The Story So Far. Tickets are free, limited to two per applicant, and available here (now fully booked).
On Monday 27 March at the British Library in Euston Road six expert speakers will explore Mughal India: Art and Culture, a world of beauty and exquisite craftsmanship. This is a U3A study day starting at 10.45am. The cost is £25 and there is a maximum of two tickets per applicant. You can book your tickets here.
Two further events – a Dutch painting study day at the National Gallery on 9 March and a spring meeting at the Royal Institution on 16 March – will be booking in the new year.
