Singing for Pleasure, were at Nower House Care Home, Dorking, in their impressive community room ready to entertain the many residents there. At the piano Music Director, Gina Eason and sitting far right u3a Group leader, Meike Laurenson.
A great afternoon with residents joining in many of the popular songs by Cole Porter, such as “Anything goes”, Jerome Kern, “Look for the silver lining”, George Gershwin, “I got rhythm”, and Irving Berlin, “Putting on the Ritz”. And ending with home made cakes and tea to round off a pleasant and relaxed afternoon.
