Our singing group of ladies and men enjoy, twice monthly, a friendly and relaxed rehearsal atmosphere with a break for coffee and chat halfway through. And there’s no need for knowledge of complicated musical jargon! We meet at the Reading Room in Buckland, just a 10-minute easy drive from Dorking.
New members are welcome – no nerve-racking public performances, although occasionally we sing to residents at a local care home, which adds to the interest and fun.
If you enjoy singing a variety of music, old and new, and are looking for something to lift your spirits, come and join us. You’re guaranteed a warm welcome and occasional laugh.
A short video extract from the group entertaining residents at Nower House care home in Dorking to songs from Oklahoma!, South Pacific and The Sound of Music, which residents greatly enjoyed and members enjoyed performing (video by Louise Kellaway).
