These days there is a huge amount of information about our ancestors online, and much research can be done in your living room. But the joy of our small group is the support, advice and discussion which we share each month, which keeps each of us enthusiastic in our search for the secrets of our family’s history.
We also share high points when one of us makes a breakthrough in our research – perhaps uncovering the source of a story told by Granny or finding an ancestor with a skill that we recognise in ourselves.
