Do you love art? Do you have an interest in architecture? This discussion group comes together each month to look at artistic trends and how they reflect the human story through the ages.
We welcome new members and encourage everyone to share their personal knowledge and enthusiasm to develop a wider appreciation of art and architecture. When possible, we organise visits to exhibitions, lectures and local properties.
This year we hope to explore the Gilded Age, with particular reference to John Singer Sargent; what is an Old Master?; embroidered treasures; and the Bauhaus movement.
