The City from the Thames
By coach to Greenwich, where we will take a leisurely stroll down to Greenwich Pier to meet our Blue Badge guide at 3.45pm, just as the sun sets, to take a one-hour cruise to Westminster with a commentary from the Cockney skipper. We pass Canary Wharf all lit up like a mini-Manhattan. We sail beneath a floodlit Tower Bridge and through the glistening City and West End.
Tower Bridge
Our coach driver meets us at Westminster Pier ready for a tour of Christmas London by night. It’s great fun seeing the busy shopping streets from high up in your coach. We will also see some of London’s most beautifully illuminated buildings and go off the beaten track to catch up with what is new in the capital.
Oxford Street lights
We will end our day at Kennedy’s restaurant in Fulham with a sit-down fish and chip supper, including hot drink, before heading for home at about 7.45pm.
