A lucky 13 members of the Photography group had good reason to make the most of any autumn sunshine when they took part in a St Francis Challenge devised and adjudicated by the group’s own Angela Rixon ARPS.
Taking the letters of the saint’s name as her cue, Angela suggested nine objectives from which to submit a set of seven autumnal photographs. They were: Scenic, Three of a Kind, Framed, Reflected, Abstract, Natural design, Creative, Isolated, and Shades of Autumn.
At the group’s December meeting the images were shown and scores were awarded. Top honours were shared by Dave Anscomb and Mike Docker but Angela found much to praise among all the entrants.
