The historic shipbuilding village of Buckler’s Hard is on the banks of the beautiful Beaulieu River in the heart of the New Forest. Once a thriving community where ships for Nelson’s Trafalgar fleet were built, it offers peaceful views and rambles along riverside paths rich with unspoilt wildlife.
You will love exploring the Maritime Museum and stepping inside the shipwright’s cottage, finding out how shipbuilding residents would have lived and worked in this picturesque village.
We are having a tour guide in the morning and have arranged a river trip in the afternoon. A coach is provided for 36 people.
Cost: £39.50 (lunch is not included but there is a café on site)
