At February’s monthly meeting, we were pleased to welcome Roger Tristram for his talk ‘Fraud: Think You’re Immune? You Might Not Be!’. Roger delivered an informative and practical talk aimed at raising our awareness of personal financial fraud and scams as well as giving us actionable advice on how to protect ourselves. The talk outlined how fraud and scams have changed over time, particularly as criminals have embraced digital tools and online channels. The core message was that no one is immune to financial fraud. Even people who consider themselves careful or savvy can be caught out.
