Our neighbour Leatherhead U3A is running two visits to Brooklands Museum, near Weybridge (‘the birthplace of British motor sport and aviation’ and ‘the home of Concorde’) and has spaces available for interested members.
On Monday 24 April the visit will include a talk entitled ‘Gear Sticks to Lipsticks’. Meet at Brooklands for 10.30am. The cost will be £15.
On Tuesday 2 May the talk will be on ‘The VC10 and Her Royal Connections’. The meeting time and cost is as above.
The price includes museum entry but not lunch: bring your own or go to the Sunbeam Café on site. More information can be found on the Brooklands website.
