Royal Holloway, University of London, is looking for interested U3A members to undertake research into the history of liberty, protest, rebellion and reform for its project entitled ‘Citizens – 800 years in the making’.
Researchers can work locally or online and will be asked to produce brief reports for inclusion on the project’s website for use in schools.
The research will take place in local museums in the South-east region, including Dorking Museum, and the shared learning projects will focus on the research interests of museum staff.
At present the university is seeking expressions of interest with a view to starting the first project in spring 2017.
You can view the project’s flyer here or contact project co-ordinator Patsy Thornton directly at patsy@thorntac.co.uk.
