There have been several changes to the Surrey U3A Network’s programme of study days at the Menuhin Hall in Stoke d’Abernon.
On Friday 20 May pianist and university tutor John Hursey will lead a day entitled ‘The Treasures of Music’ in place of the ‘Fifty Years of Changing Britain’ that was previously scheduled.
The Nick Barratt study day on 17 June has been replaced by ‘Majesty and Menace: Henry VIII and the Tudor Age’ led by Siobhan Elizabeth Clarke, a guide lecturer at Hampton Court Palace.
Finally, ‘The Inka – Children of the Sun’ has moved to 18 November, its place on 21 October being taken by ‘The Knight in Shining Armour’ presented by Nigel Arch, author and former director of Kensington Palace who is now chairman of the Dorking Museum.
