Due to demand, we have now two Local History groups.
If you have ever wondered why something in Dorking, or the surrounding district, is called the name it is? Or if you want to discover something about past trades, housing or are simply fascinated by the rich and famous who once lived in the area, our group can provide fascinating facts and insights. We like to involve everyone by group research and debates and, when weather permits, we organise visits and guided walks. There is always something new to learn.
