Painting for Pleasure is just what it says!
Popularity has meant that even with last year’s expansion to start two further groups,( 2 and 3) Group 1 is currently full.
There is no requirement of skill level and members can simply enjoy the experience of putting paint or pencil on paper in
a creative way they find satisfying. Individuals bring with them their own brushes, paper and paints whether it be
watercolour, gouache, acrylic or pastels, but helpful and friendly advice is freely given for those just starting out.Colours
and textures all come into it and a number of us find copying floral studies a great way of learning about light and shade,
composition, balance and colour….as well as boosting confidence.
