Enjoying Gilbert and Sullivan is a new group that meets on the fourth Tuesday in the month.
We are aiming to find out what kind of people G and S were, about the society in which they lived, and the influences this had on their operettas and other works. We will probably look at the operettas themselves and might consider the style of music and what makes G and unique.
We have recordings to listen to, books in which to delve, the internet to explore, and occasionally there will be a live performance to enjoy.
