A combined venture with Leatherhead u3a, this group is for members who have a basic knowledge of Spanish and want to improve their conversational skills.
This is NOT a taught group – members wishing to brush up their language skills may decide to join a class or can download a programme from the internet or as an app (Duolingo; BBC Talk Spanish; Pasos).
The group meets twice a month and each session focuses on a particular theme. Members participate in smaller groups at a conversation level they feel comfortable with.
Themes cover: meeting others and introducing ourselves; talking about our family and home; describing routines and leisure activities; exchanging information about food and drink.
