Speaker and voice-over artist Louise Camby is the proud granddaughter of composer, arranger and conductor Johnny Douglas.
In this talk she tells his life story and shares the music he composed. He worked with many celebrities, including Barbra Streisand, Shirley Bassey, Howard Keel and Vera Lynn, had his own record label, Dulcima Records, and most famously wrote the music for the 1971 film The Railway Children.
He also composed for many other films and TV series such as Spider-Man and His Amazing Friends, The Incredible Hulk and The Transformers.
