At each meeting group members do a five-minute ‘Scribble’ on a random topic (amazing what people come up with), some sort of writing activity, then we read what we’ve written on a common theme. November’s is particularly interesting. It’s based on the award-winning eight-minute film Uisce Beatha (click on the picture to watch the film on YouTube).
Please feel free to join us at our Zoom meeting: new faces are always welcome and writing is an excellent interest in these troubled times.
We’re asked to write something (poem, playscript, factual, story, etc) based on the film from one particular viewpoint. The viewpoint can be an actual character or someone on the sidelines or involved indirectly. Not more than about 1,000 words.
Let me know if you’d like to come along and see what we’re up to: bring some writing if you like.
