The Savill Garden is justly famous for its 35 acres of seasonal displays of flowers and blossom and for its collections of plants from around the world.
Our trip is timed for the azalea and rhododendron high season when there is a never-to-be-forgotten waist-high and breathtaking explosion of colour all round as you wander along the paths through the gardens.
There will be time for a coffee before a member of the gardens team meets us at 12 o’clock to give us an introduction and escort us in our coach through Windsor Great Park.
Afterwards, we are free to get some lunch at the café and spend the rest of the afternoon wandering round the gardens as we wish.
We suggest you wear comfortable, stout shoes if it is wet, and bear in mind that the gardens are not all on the same level and may be a little muddy.
