Ruling South and parts of Central Asia from 1526 to 1858, the Mughal dynasty became one of the most powerful and opulent empires the world has ever known, remembered through a rich artistic and cultural heritage including exquisite paintings, manuscripts and architecture.
The British Library has assembled six key speakers to explore the art and culture of Mughal India in this study day, exclusive to U3A members, to be held in the British Library Knowledge Centre Theatre at 96 Euston Road, London NW1 2DB.
