Our Culture Companions group visits the Green Room Theatre for the DDOS production of the much-loved classic, Little Women by Louisa May Alcott, adapted and directed by Rosita Goldstone.
This adaptation covers both Little Women books and you will see the March girls being led in their adventures by their wonderful mother Marmee, their opinionated Aunt March and the loyal and kind Mr Laurence who looks out for them. Come and watch Amy grow from being a young girl desperate to join in to a confident and assured lady. Watch Meg fall in love with Mr Brooke and marry and settle into domestic life. See Beth show her kind, innocent nature and navigate her life with a simplicity that her sisters do not own. Watch Jo as she writes her plays, defies convention and tries to get her book published in New York.
Little Women is sure to capture your imagination and pull at your heart strings.
