Join members of our Local History group on a tour of the hidden treasures and historic connections that you might pass by every day.
Accompanied by an expert from Dorking Museum, the guided walk starts at the museum at 10am on Thursday 28 April and lasts about 90 minutes.
The walk takes in the buildings and areas around Dorking that survive from the early 17th century and which William Mullins and his fellow pilgrims would have known. We will explore the lives of the Mayflower pilgrims in Dorking, what the town and buildings were like during their lives, and what happened to them after they left for the New World.
Please contact group member Linda Tobitt on 07504 098735 or lstobitt@gmail.com if you wish to join the walk.
