More than 60 members made their way to the grounds of Box Hill School on the afternoon of Wednesday 23 August to enjoy the good company, good food and good music at our summer picnic.
Appropriately bucolic music was provided by our own Dorking U3A Bells – supported by a splendid 1950s jukebox that occasionally seemed to have a mind of its own.
Many picnickers took the opportunity to take a tour around the school’s historic main building, Dalewood House, and a quiz provided an incentive to explore the grounds further.
Thanks to Penny and Pat for arranging this enjoyable afternoon.
