The Photography group took Symmetry as the theme for their latest meeting and members showed their usual inventiveness in responding to the task. Among the entries was this surreal vision by Robert Edmondson, reminiscent of a Rorschach inkblot test made flesh.

Others showed brilliant moments of action or well observed ‘found’ images, but we have to include the symmetrical black and white puss because the internet would collapse without a constant supply of cat pictures – and it helps to justify the awful pun in the headline.
