‘Colour Papers’ by Wendy Ottewill
With serendipitous timing, the Photography group has challenged itself to produce images on the theme of Colour just when the topic of our next monthly meeting has changed to ‘Colour perception’.
To meet the brief most of the photographers looked for their inspiration in nature, and some striking examples can be viewed in the group’s online gallery. Among the exceptions was this eye-catching array of multicoloured papers photographed by Wendy Ottewill.
The group’s October meeting will be held at joint leader Mike Thurner’s house, where member Angela Rixon will talk on how she was inspired by the work of American artist Georgia O’Keeffe.
