The Castles, Historic Houses and Gardens of North Wales

Itinerary
Day 1 Depart from pick-up points in Dorking. En route, a visit to the medieval Powis Castle and world famous gardens (admission free to NT members)
Day 2 Leisure in Llandudno in the morning. Then a light lunch and talk on Anglesey. In the afternoon visit the beautiful 18th century Plas Newydd Country House and Gardens (free to NT members)
Day 3 >Blue Badge guide accompanies us to the National Slate Museum. Optional scenic excursions from Blaenau Ffestiniog to Porthmadog. Visit village of Portmeirion.
Day 4 Visit Caernarfon Castle with Blue Badge guide. Afternoon at leisure in Caernarfon or, weather permitting, optional excursion with Blue Badge guide on Snowdon mountain railway
Day 5 Visit Bodnant Gardens (free to NT members) in the morning. Afternoon, visit Conwy Castle and Aberconwy House in Conwy (free to NT members)
Day 6 Visit Llangollen, with optional canal boat trip through the Vale of Llangollen and across the famous Pontcysyllte Aqueduct built by Thomas Telford
