Not most people’s first choice as their favourite colour, yellow is, however, associated with warmth, wisdom and optimism. It also signifies betrayal and cowardice in some cultures.
It is the most visible colour from a distance, which is why it is often used in signage – and it was also the subject of our Photography group’s latest challenge.
Flowers feature strongly among the pictures they have created, but their lenses have picked out some more unusual yellow sightings too.
