Tickets are now available for a special U3A lecture entitled ‘Live longer, live well – seize the day!’ at the Royal Society in London on Tuesday 7 June, 2-4pm.
Speaker Richard Faragher is chair of the British Society for Research on Ageing and professor of biogerontology at the University of Brighton. He is an entertaining and informative lecturer, who will already be familiar to some U3A members.
He will explore the potential to transform health in later life, looking at the current state of research, and dispel false myths about ageing, among other topics.
The cost is £15, including refreshments in the Royal Society’s City of London Rooms overlooking St James’s Park.
Places are limited, but tickets can be purchased online through this link.
