We discuss issues of local, national and international interest, usually led by a member of the group but sometimes an outside speaker.

Topics at recent meetings have included the volcanic ash problem, the significance of water, Free Schools, the care of older people, the coalition government’s policies, the question of intelligent life elsewhere in the universe, proposed changes to the NHS, VAT, prison numbers, direct action, Olympic cycling on Box Hill, the alternative vote, and the concept of a free and just society.

We meet in the comfortable sitting room of Canterbury Court and have a few vacancies.
